If you picked up Dead Rising 2: Case West and are having a problem getting the "Handy Man" Achievement, which requires building all the new weapons in the DLC, it may not necessarily be that you're missing something. PLEASE BE AWARE, taken from Joystiq is this heads up: Laser Gun: Laser Sword (Flashlight (can be found in Supply Office, your headquarters throughout the game) and Gems, can be found in Living Quarters area) + Lightning Gun (BFG + Electric Prod) Lightning Gun: BFG (Blast Frequency Gun) + Electric Prod Impact Blaster: Impact Hammer (Carried by the big burly guys, or can be find on top of one of the ledges above a door in the Living Quarters) + BFG (In the Living Quarters room where you save the scientist) Reaper: Sickle (Holding bay, far right container with your back to the starting point of the game) + Katana Sword (In one of the rooms of the Living Quarters area) Sterilizer: Chemicals (Green liquid, outside the upstairs Maintenance Room in the lab) + Syringe (Note, this is the Syringe GUN required, not the Box of Syringes) (Carried by Zombie Handlers, the people in the hazmat suits) Zap N' Shine: Floor Buffer (Throughout the complex) + Electric Prod He's basically the Adam the Clown of Dead Rising 2, and he will wreck you if you just wander in with 2 healing items and half a sword or whatever.Shocker: Defibrilllator (Found in Lab Area, outside of the upstairs Maintenance Room or on top of one of the shelves in the Storage Bay) + Medical Tray (Lab Area or on top of one of the shelves in the Storage Bay, be sure to take the metal ones. Be prepared when you fight the Chef psychopath. That's valuable stuff and your daughter needs it.
There's only like 5 free ones in the game, and they're all in really out of the way places, and they cost ~20,000 dollars at the store. Unless you're doing a Saint Run (which is not recommended for a first playthrough at all), I'd advise that you ignore the survivors who ask for Zombrex.Even accounting for other survivors that need it, you shouldn't ever need to buy Zombrex for the extortionate prices that the pawn shops sell it for.
You also get Zombrex from a couple of survivors and psychopaths.
You get most of the combo cards by levelling up, but some are acquired after certain psychopath battles or survivor escorts, and others can be acquired by looking at movie posters around Fortune City. You also get PP for every kill - the amount varies between weapons but usually you get more PP for sillier kills. Usually they're far and away more effective than melee weapons you can just pick up. Use the combo weapons as much as you can.
